As a Disney food blogger, I am always trying to find the best snacks or meals throughout the parks and resorts. Most of what I eat on a typical park day is quick service meals for lunch to spend more time going on attractions than having a sit down meal that can hold you back 2 hours.
I'm going to start a new food series on the best top quick service places to eat at each Disney park to give you all some tips on what the tastiest fast bites to eat are. Today we'll start with Animal Kingdom!
Restaurantosaurus in Dinoland USA
There are a lot of unique options to choose from in Animal Kingdom as far as food goes, but there is also your standard fare of burgers and fries like at Restaurantosaurus in Dinoland USA. At this dinosaur themed restaurant, you'll find a glorified McDonald's-style quick service spot. But...this place is actually very good!
Not only do they have gourmet burgers here with the best buns, but they have an array of other options such as sandwiches and veggie burgers. Every time I come here the food is always so fresh and last time I came I got the Beyond burger with a spicy dairy free sauce, vegan cheese, arugula, tomatoes, & a beautiful toasted bun with crispy french fries. Honestly, this is a really solid option and I love that Disney World is incorporating more for plant-based eaters. Let me tell y'all... there is something special about Disney fries I've tried recreating them at home but they still don't taste the same!

If you're not in the mood for burgers, Flame Tree BBQ has you covered. On the menu here, you'll find salads, barbequed meats like grilled chicken or ribs, & the infamous mac and cheese with pulled pork. My personal favorite since I don't eat meat is the hot link veggie dog with crispy onions and coleslaw.

But what about the other unique options besides just fried food can you get in Animal Kingdom? At Satu'li Canteen in Pandora: The World of Avatar, this answers the question on one of the most distinctive flavors Animal Kingdom has to offer. With healthy African-Asian inspired bowls, this quick service spot is eccentric in their aims of presentation that's not your typical theme park food.

Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse for $5.79
Satu'li Canteen is also a good option for people who have different allergies or dietary preferences. For example, you can customize your bowl with no dairy and choose your base of rice & beans, with protein. I think it's neat that Disney is implementing more creative dishes and look forward to see them doing more with different cuisines!
As you can see, there is a wide variety of options in Animal Kingdom to choose from. I absolutely love eating at table service restaurants don't get me wrong, but it's always nice to grab something quick to spend more time in the park. I hope I helped y'all narrow down the fast food options for your upcoming trip & thanks for reading this blog post it means a lot to me!
