Disney World Breakfast Series: Trattoria Al Forno

Throughout the Walt Disney World Resort there is a lot of great places to go for breakfast or brunch. I have been to most table service restaurants on property to test out the best options for you & your family to try on your trip!

If I had to guess my first option would be Topolino's Terrace, which I have already done a blog post a few weeks ago. My second favorite option would be Trattoria Al Forno at Disney's Boardwalk Villa's. This decadent Italian ristorante and bar is the perfect place to go if you want something that's unique and flavorful that you can't get anywhere else on property. Just a short boat ride or walk away from Epcot or Hollywood studios, I would recommend eating here when you go to either of those parks since they're close by.

As far as fancy food is concerned, this restaurant does it right by offering French pressed coffee and pastries early in the morning. This is also a popular dining spot for last-minute reservations so if you didn't score the dining reservation that you wanted, this is also a great spot to try.

Now to the food! I've dined here for breakfast and dinner here before and the breakfast menu does tend to be a little shorter than the dinner menu. What I also like is that this restaurant has a separate kitchen for allergy friendly peeps like me and my sister. If you have a gluten intolerance they will make your food in a separate part of the kitchen which is amazing! I've gotten the same thing every time which is this beautiful chickpea avocado toast with a side of breakfast potatoes.

The last time my sister and I came here for breakfast, she got the Al Forno Eggs entree which has 2 eggs, polenta, sausage, a spicy tomato sauce, & gluten free bread you have to ask for. She said this was the best breakfast option for gluten-free eaters that she has ever had on property. This is saying a lot because we have tried almost every restaurant here in Disney World since we were little and this entree is a must!

You can get this polenta & eggs entree for $15

Trattoria Al Forno is also a great place to celebrate birthdays as well as all the other table service restaurants on property (wink wink). There are plenty of cast members who will go out of their way to make your special day. I went here for breakfast on my birthday last year and received a free chocolate croissant with a biscotti cookie. Disney truly does have a lot of magic touches that keeps you coming back for more!

Another cute tidbit of this restaurant is the scented bathrooms that smell like cotton candy. This is standard for all Disney restrooms honestly, and this makes you feel like you are actually on a Boardwalk! I also love that this restaurant is conjoined with the Abracadabar and you can pop in to get a cocktail while

you're waiting for your table to be ready.

If you don't take a Disney bathroom selfie what are you doing?

Well there you have it! My breakfast dining review of Trattoria Al Forno is up in the books. I would highly recommend eating here as this is such a convenient place to go before a park day.

If you have any questions to ask me about dining or have any inquiries on a future trip you need planned feel free to reach out to me!
