Disney Springs is definitely a busy shopping district!
Not very many people know the size of Disney World and underestimates how busy it can get when people are not at the parks and instead want to take a shopping day. Today I'm going to show you a secret hack to scoring some of the hardest to get reservations in Disney Springs.
Mai-Tai at Morimoto Asia Restaurant in Disney Springs
If you've ever had to wake up at 5 am 60 days before your trip when your booking window opens and you don't get a dining reservation you really wanted- well don't fret! Some restaurants who are not Disney-owned you can make reservations for such as The Boathouse or Jaleo off the Open Table app.
You can do this even 180 days in advance of your trip and does not require you to wait when your booking window opens for dining reservations 60 days before your vacation starts. I was literally mind-blown when I searched "Lake Buena Vista Restaurants" on Open Table and couldn't believe it that some of the Disney Springs michelin star dining was able to book not just on the Disney website.
Open Table has a lot of great options for dining!
Another great perk to using Open Table is that they don't charge you if you can't make it to your reservation. Disney does however have a per person cancellation fee if you don't cancel 2 hours in advance of your reservation. This is a really good thing to note if you decide to take a shopping day on the first day when you fly in to Orlando and are late to your dining reservation in Disney Springs.

I hope you all put this hack to good use as not very many people know about it. You can be saving money and time by booking through Open Table!
